What we need is a "21st Century Full Employment Act for Peace and Prosperity" which would make it a mandatory requirement that the president and Congress attain and maintain full employment.

Democrats and their super majority in Minnesota

Democrats have a super majority here in Minnesota.

A Democratic Governor.

A solid majority in the Minnesota State House.

A solid majority in the Minnesota State Senate.

And what is their legislative agenda? To raise property taxes and user fees.

What has happened to rescinding the primary obstacle to union organizing; "at-will hiring, at-will firing?"

What has happened to "property tax relief?"

What has happened to enforcing Affirmative Action?

What has happened to single-payer universal health care like our neighbors to the north have in Canada?

What has happened to eliminating poverty?

What has happened to their pledge to raise the minimum wage to a real living--- non-poverty--- wage?

And the list goes on.

But, the point is; here in Minnesota the Minnesota Democratic Farmer-Labor Party is refusing to do what is right by the people and they are intent on doing the same thing Obama has done--- deliver a Republican driven austerity budget they call "progressive."

Is there any use asking if the Minnesota DFL will save the St. Paul Ford Twin Cities Assembly Plant from demolition after spending hundreds of millions of tax-payer dollars subsidizing Ford's profits enabling the company to build a brand new plant in Thailand compliments of Minnesota tax-payers?
