What we need is a "21st Century Full Employment Act for Peace and Prosperity" which would make it a mandatory requirement that the president and Congress attain and maintain full employment.

We need more public voices for socialism

Many who call themselves progressives and leftists, not just liberals, are failing to act in solidarity with Maduro and the Venezuelan people... and the people of Cuba and Nicaragua who Trump has in his cross-hairs, too.

The fact remains, without a very vocal, active and strong Marxist working class party leading mass organizations in all spheres this will continue to be a big problem. Just look at all these people who self-identify as various kinds of socialists who won't even stand in solidarity with Maduro and the Venezuelan people at the very time the Wall Street imperialists are actively trying to instigate a coup... shameful and disgusting.

We need to bring socialism out into the public square where it can be vigorously discussed and debated.

We need a discussion about what socialism is and why we need it.

We, as Marxists, need to struggle against this backwards thinking in our own ranks that socialism is some kind of long-term remedy when just the opposite is true if we are going to survive.

As we work to build solidarity with the people of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua now defending their socialist revolutions we should be thinking about what kind of working class Marxist organization we need in our country and we should be laying solid foundations for such an organization in every community, school and workplace.

I would invite people to consider working to build locals of the Socialist Connection Action Network (Socialist C.A.N.)

Read and study about socialism.

Write wherever you can in support of socialism; explain what socialism is and why our very survival depends on replacing capitalism with socialism.

Speak out vigorously for socialism.

Impeach Trump now! We can't take the chance Democrats will defeat Trump in 2020.

It is very selfish of the Democrats to not take up the need to impeach Trump and remove him from office through a massive mobilization of the American people right now; we can’t wait for Election Day... the stakes are too high.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress applauded Trump’s plan to remove Maduro from office through a violent murderous illegal coup funded by U.S. taxpayers but they won’t lift a finger to carry out their own Constitutional responsibility to remove Trump from office even though every single day they come up with another of his wrong-doings that they have splashed all over the media.
I can say right now, I will never vote for any Democrat for president backed by Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or Steny Hoyer... all of whom are backing this coup now underway trying to oust the democratically elected president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, who has done a heck of a lot more for workers and farmers than these worthless Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Steny Hoyer have ever done for the workers and farmers in this country... in fact, by refusing to take up Trump’s impeachment they are enabling him to do irreparable harm to us and our living environment as he inflicts pain and suffering on the peoples of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.
By the time the Democrats get done working hand-in-hand with Trump, Pence, John Bolton and Eliot Abrams and the blood is flowing through the streets of Venezuela and the filled body bags return back to our country... these Democrats will have about as much chance of electing a Democrat in 2020 as Lyndon Johnson would have had should he have sought re-election after overseeing the carnage in Vietnam.

Don’t count on the Democrats defeating Trump in 2020... Trump needs to be impeached now... only massive movements of militant protests in the streets will force the Democrats to take up Trump’s impeachment.

Democrats shamefully support Trump's Venezuela coup

Did anyone see the performance on CNN of the biggest "liberal" in the U.S. Senate, Ben Cardin, who is owned by AIPAC and the Military-Industrial Complex?

Cardin said he supports Trump’s effort to oust Maduro in a coup.

Now, let me ask this question:

Is there anyone who thinks the Democrats have any chance of beating Trump when the biggest “liberal” in the U.S. Senate supports Trump’s illegal, unconstitutional coup against not only Venezuela, but his stated intent to overthrow the governments of Cuba and Nicaragua?

Will the required number of people needed to vote for Democrats to defeat Trump turn out to vote for these kinds of Democrats? I doubt it.

Poverty

Trump, Pence, Pompeo, John Bolton, Steny Hoyer and the Hitlerite Eliot Abrams are making the pitch to the world as their reason for orchestrating the overthrow of the governments of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua ( by coup or direct war) that they have some kind of humanitarian interests in helping the poor.

Poverty, according to the United States government as defined by Lyndon Johnson when he pushed his “Great Society” initiative that became mired in the swamps of Vietnam, is a state of deprivation, lacking the usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions. The most common measure of poverty in the U.S. is the "poverty threshold" set by the U.S. government. This measure recognizes poverty as a lack of those goods and services commonly taken for granted by members of mainstream society.

Over forty-million of our fellow citizens right here in our own country are forced to endure poverty because these same lying imperialist morons who claim to want to help people in poverty in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua have never lifted one little finger to alleviate, let alone eliminate, poverty right here in our own country. Only a complete fool can fail to see the outright hypocrisy in all of this.
