What we need is a "21st Century Full Employment Act for Peace and Prosperity" which would make it a mandatory requirement that the president and Congress attain and maintain full employment.

Joe Lieberman and John McCain: a very dangerous alliance

Joe Lieberman and John McCain made a plea for a bipartisan approach aimed at winning the war in Iraq. Lieberman and McCain made their pitch before the American Enterprise Institute which shares the distinction with the CATO Institute for developing the enlightening policies that guide George Bush in all of his endeavors when ever Karl Rove suffers a brain fart.

"For Lieberman and McCain, the big worry is that Bush will order too small a troop increase to make a difference. "Unless you believe all is lost, we've got to do everything we can to win," Lieberman said." [from Washington Post com... see entire article by clicking on the title]

How can anyone have the audacity to speak in terms of "winning" a war that is wrong, illegal, and immoral from the start? This is a war based upon deceit and lies. Has the reason for this war changed in some way we that we haven't been told about? Not unless the oil has stopped flowing.

Lieberman and McCain are the foremost spokesmen for the military-financial-industrial complex.

Both Lieberman and McCain are interesting specimans of the human race, to say the least.

McCain is a war criminal shot out of the skies over Vietnam doing something wrong in a place he had no right to be in the first place... then he was allowed to live out his life after raining the most beastial death and destruction from the skies upon innocent peoples; his claim to fame is he lived in a cage for a few years after being stopped from carrying out his dirty deeds; but is it unusual for a dangerous animal to be placed in a cage?... And then as the war ended after the United States was defeated he was allowed to walk free... more a commentary of his victims humanity then on his "heroism." McCain never talks about his victims. Obviously McCain is so stupid he didn't learn anything from his life experiences; it is too bad that McCain didn't learn anything about the nature of imperialism from those that took the time to keep him alive even though he came to their country to kill innocent human beings who only wanted the right to live in peace with dignity.

Lieberman will say and do anything the right-wing, warmongering Israeli lobby tells him to say and do... he is a pathetic excuse for a human being, let alone a politician... if ever there has been an example of a politician being like a prostitute, it is Joe Lieberman.

Lieberman, McCain and the American Enterprise Institute are recommending more troops be sent to Iraq. This will no doubt be what Bush does.

This will escalate the war in Iraq to new heights. With more Americans on the ground it will mean more filled body bags returning home as more Iraqis will die.

George McGovern has presented a very well thought out "Blueprint" for ending U.S. involvement in Iraq. By-and-large the big-business dominated and controlled mainstream media has given McGovern's proposal little consideration while playing up this stupid scheme to send more Americans into harms way with the intent to pacify the Iraqi population. The term being bandied about by the new leadership chosen by Bush to prosecute this illegal, immoral, and unjust imperialist war for oil and regional domination is: "secure the population."

No doubt, as a result of this new "secure the population" strategy we will be seeing a number of massacres similar to the My Lai Massacre in Vietnam.

How many more Americans will have to die in Iraq while engaged in the process of reigning death and destruction upon that country and its people? It is bad enough that this war based upon deceit and lies continues; it is criminal that Bush and the United States Congress intend to add more fuel to the fire; especially after the November Election was a clear referendum on the war in Iraq; voters sent the clear message: End the war in Iraq; bring the troops home now.

Shame on Bush and the United States Congress for continuing the war in Iraq.

Joe Lieberman and John McCain reflect a very frightening and dangerous alliance; we better keep a very careful eye on these warmongers.
