What we need is a "21st Century Full Employment Act for Peace and Prosperity" which would make it a mandatory requirement that the president and Congress attain and maintain full employment.

Jail the Senate insider traders

Why does it take the truth so goddamn long to leak out in our great bastion of freedom and democracy?

This is sheer treason in the full sense of the word. These Senators put their financial interests before the health of our entire Nation.

If this isn’t treason; what is treason?

This is the betrayal of our country and the American people.

“The Criminal Justice Act 1990 abolished the death penalty, setting the punishment for treason at life imprisonment, with parole in not less than forty years.”

Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.), James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Richard Burr (R-N.C.) each sold millions of dollars in stocks within days of the Senate holding a classified briefing on Jan. 24 with Trump administration officials on the threat of the coronavirus outbreak.

Criminal Penalties for Insider Trading:

“The maximum prison sentence for an insider trading violation is now 20 years. The maximum criminal fine for individuals is now $5,000,000, and the maximum fine for non-natural persons (such as an entity whose securities are publicly traded) is now $25,000,000.”

Martha Stewart went to prison for much less of a crime; what makes these wealthy public officials who violated the public trust immune from prosecution?
