At least there were a couple Democrats who had the moral and political courage to stand up against the lying provocations that took us into the war in Vietnam and the war in Iraq.
If you can't rely on a politician to stand up for peace there is nothing you can rely on them for... nothing, absolutely nothing.
As we can learn from history, these politicians who lack the moral and
political courage to stand up for peace, are very weak, at best, when it
comes to issues of social and economic justice.
