Working people who voice their opinions are routinely silenced in all kinds of ways--- from being fired from their jobs to being banned from "social media" which is proclaimed to be the epitome of democracy.
This Wall Street dominated government can't tolerate democracy because if the people had any voice at all this entire rotten system would be brought down.
These people who own and control the media and the Internet can't even tolerate critical views and opinions of their corrupt system which is crumbling before our very eyes creating misery for so many people from which so few profit.
We don't live in a democracy; we constantly live on the edge of this country becoming a fascist dictatorship.
