Where did U.S. foreign policy go wrong towards China?

I have been listening to different Democratic Party groups and politicians...

They have joined Trump-Pompeo-Bannon-Bolton in a viciously racist anti-Communist red-baiting attack on China and the Chinese people.

This China bashing has grown to a level more severe and pernicious than that of the McCarthy era when liberal-minded, and progressive-minded, public officials employed to carry out U.S. foreign policy regarding China were hounded out of the State Department and other government posts because they told the truth that Mao’s Communist Party had the overwhelming support of the Chinese people after first helping the United States drive the Japanese imperialists from Chinese soil and then driving out the reactionary Chinese nationalists.

No country, in spite of many twists and turns and setbacks- and such massive opposition and pressure from the imperialist countries- has ever lifted so many people out of poverty and developed an advanced economy so quickly.

This scandal of driving these far-sighted public officials from government and public life involved those known as “the China Hands.”

And U.S. foreign policy towards China has been mired in a reactionary agenda ever since for over 70 years which has been detrimental to both our own people and the Chinese people and the rest of the world which is now detrimental in fighting the coronavirus as we can all see.

It is up to working people to assert our voices for developing good relations with China and the Chinese people.

We will need this friendship with China to extract ourselves from this collapsing capitalist economy.

It’s probably too late to do anything together in way of fighting this coronavirus and we are going to pay dearly for this anti-China policy.
