What is the condition of the working class today?

"The condition of the working-class is the real basis and point of departure of all social movements of the present because it is the highest and most unconcealed pinnacle of the social misery existing in our day." Friedrich Engels writing in 1845; as true today as when Engels wrote it.

The AD NAUSEUM support for Obama and the Democrats coming from people who haven't even attended a Democratic Party meeting to push an anti-imperialist working class agenda is sickening. In fact, they don't even attend Democratic Party precinct caucuses, county, state or national conventions because they know if they bring forward peace, social and economic justice issues that would remedy the problems working class families are experiencing they would be red-baited, called names, silenced and chased away by the corporate lawyers placed in charge by the Wall Street firms they are employed by.
