I
don't understand the logic of some in the peace movement who are saying,
"Show proof of gassing in Syria before the cruise missiles fly."
Even if the gassing did take place we don't know who was responsible.
But, what difference does it make?
How is launching cruise missiles that will slaughter hundreds, if not
thousands, of people an appropriate (or "humanitarian") response?
Once again a bunch of innocent children will be the primary victims.
Only a complete idiot would suggest killing people as a solution to their problems.
There is already more than enough violence and killing in the Middle
East; one more war only adds to the violence and killing and will only
further destabilize the region.
But, destabilization is what
Obama, Wall Street and the G-8 financial centers want because without
destabilization they lose control of this oil-rich region.
